Justin J. Barsoum, MD

Justin Jacob Barsoum, MD, serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of Acro Health Inc. The board guides the organization's work to advance preventive healthcare in San Antonio through education, early detection, and accessible care.

Dr. Barsoum earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, the same program as Acro Health founder Mark C. Adams, MD. His earlier studies included Marymount California University, Southern California University of Health Sciences, and El Camino College.

Before medical school, he worked as a medical scribe at West Point Medical Center, as a broker with Queen Insurance, and as Marketing Director for Sentry Legal Plan. That mix of clinical exposure, client service, and outreach informs his perspective on governance and community engagement.

Rooted in Southern California's South Bay, he has volunteered with the South Bay Initiative food bank and with Beach Cities Health District clean-beach and community education efforts.
